Beyoncé Lemonade
The famous American singer Beyoncé has released her sixth studio Album called Lemonade on the 23 April 2016. The record labels for this album are Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records. This album falls under a variety of genres and this includes R&B, pop, hip hop, blues , rock soul, funk , country, gospel and lastly trap. Lemonade also includes a one hour visual album and it has a strong depiction of 'every woman's journal of self knowledge and healing' according Tidal.
Beyoncé was inspired to name her album 'Lemonade' as it had a connection with her grandmother Agnez Dereon and also her husband's grandmother Hattie White. In one of Beyoncé's track 'Freedom', Hattie says 'I had my ups and downs, but I always found the inner strength to pull myself up. I was serve lemons, but I made lemonade'. Many critics believe that the whole album signifies the struggle of women and being continuously oppressed by society and men. Although, many will argue that the album raises questions about Beyoncé's and Jay Z's marriage and his fidelity issues and affair with 'Becky'.
The track list for Lemonade consists of 13 songs. The title of the songs are : 'Pray you catch me' , 'Hold up', 'Don't hurt yourself' , 'Sorry' , '6 inch' , 'Daddy lessons' , 'Love drought' , 'Sandcastles' , 'Forward' , 'Freedom' , 'All night' ,'Formation' and 'Lemonade'.
